We also offer live-in care as a viable alternative to Residential Homes, enabling service users to maintain independence and remain in their own homes.

Live in care is for people who need continuous care for varying lengths of time. For some people, it is the preferred alternative to a Residential Home. We provide flexible options that allow you choose the care that meets your needs, allowing input from your family and professional teams involved in your care.

Workers will live in your home and undertake all tasks as agreed in the Care Plan, focusing on you, your goals and what you direct them to do; doing things at your own pace whist ensuring your safety and well being. They can support your outdoor activities, ensuring you are able to access and use local facilities, escorting you to places of interest, trips and holidays.

Your live in Support Worker is directly employed by us therefore we ensure their supervision, skills update and mandatory training. Similar to the process for regular domiciliary care, we endeavour to assign the same support worker(s) so that you will benefit from continuity and consistent care.

Monitoring

We offer continuous monitoring of the support worker and the service provided to ensure that quality standards are maintained.

• We will arrange and provide cover at all times so that you are never left unattended at any time
• We will speak to support workers every week to ensure we are kept up to date with any changes in your circumstances that may initiate a change in the service we are providing
• We will review Care Plans at regular intervals and when your circumstances change, to ensure we are always providing the person centred service required
